Hockey In Newark - Petition

Mr. Keith Veltre, a special needs teacher at East Side High School, coach of the Red Raiders varsity high school hockey team in Newark, NJ, and co-director of Hockey In Newark has brought to our attention a petition, begun by the children and the community from the Hockey In Newark program, to get the Ironbound Recreation Center open.  He states that the issues surrounding  the Ironbound Recreation Center, "...have cost us our Middle School Team, our 6-10 year old Learn To Play Hockey Program , and the East Side High School Hockey Team...had to pull out of the Essex County Hockey League because as of right now we do not have a rink to practice at."

Come and join your Devils Fan Club members and other hockey fans at the 42nd Annual 2012 NHL Booster Club Convention (BCC) in Ft. Lauderdale, sponsored by the Florida Panthers Booster Club. The convention is scheduled for August 10th through August 12th with pre-convention activities starting Monday, August 6th. For those interested, an early deposit of $100 is due January 15, 2012.  Payment is made to Devils Fan Club, Inc.  A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for those paying after June 15, 2012.
