official booster club of the National Hockey Leagueīs New
Jersey Devils. With over 800
members, the DFC is the largest
booster club in the NHL! The Devils Fan Club operates as an
independent, volunteer organization, to support the New Jersey Devils
and to promote a greater interest in the sport of ice hockey.

MAY DFC GENERAL MEETING Wilshire

Our May meeting of the
2011-2012 season will be held at theWilshire Grand Hotel
and Conference Center, 350 Pleasant Valley Way in
West Orange on Tuesday, May 15th at 7:30 PM.
Our guest speaker is Glenn "Chico" Resch,
the current New Jersey Devils' color
commentator on the MSG network. Come listen to Chico share his
thoughts on the Devils' play in the postseason!
Nominations for the 2012 - 2013 Devils Fan Club
Executive Team will also take place at our
May meeting.
As always, meetings are a great
opportunity to socialize with other Devils fans. You
must be a Current Member to attend any General Meeting.
New and renewal memberships applications are accepted at
each meeting.

GARDEN STATE GAMES
TOURNAMENT MAY/JUNE 2012
Since 1983, The Garden State Games Ice Hockey
Competition has provided opportunities for young players
in New Jersey to enjoy themselves in a sports festival
atmosphere while displaying their hockey skills. Support for this tournament has been
provided by the DFC, since 1992, through its
Charities Committee to aid game funding and, more
importantly, to staff this competition by volunteer DFC
members.
The
opening celebration is being held at a Jackals game
on Sat., June 23rd at 6:00 PM at the Yogi Berra
stadium on the campus of Montclair State
University.

16th ANNUAL KEN DANEYKO GOLF
CLASSIC Thurs., July 12,
2012 Suburban Golf Club,
Union, NJ
Golfers unite!
Join us on July 12th at the Suburban Golf
Club in Union for the Ken Daneyko Golf Classic, an
annual event to raise funds for the Center for Great
Expectations. In addition to a great day of golf, kicked
off with a spectacular brunch on the patio high above
the course, golfers look forward to the Grand Cocktail
Reception/ Dinner that follows a great day of golf. A
silent auction completes the event as golfers take home
unique items at bargain prices.
Ed Stankiewicz, a member of the Board of
Directors at the Center, has once again taken the helm
to chair the event, making this his 8th
year
of creating this a memorable event. He can be reached at
908-930-9355. To play golf and enjoy all the activities
is $325 per golfer, and to attend the dinner only, $100.
Sponsorships are available, as well as the opportunity
to take an ad in the golf journal.

Foundation will hold it's 15th Annual Shore High School
All Star Hockey Game on Sunday, August 5th, 2012 @
5:15 PM at the Red Bank Armory, 76 Chestnut Street, Red
Bank, NJ. This charity game will
feature the best high school players from Monmouth and
Ocean counties.
The proceeds for this year's game will be donated
to a charity to be announced.
Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the
door.

42nd Annual 2012 NHL BCC August 10-14,
2012 Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Come and join your Devils Fan Club members and other
hockey fans at the 42nd Annual 2012 NHL Booster Club
Convention (BCC) in Ft. Lauderdale, sponsored by the
Florida Panthers Booster Club. The convention is
scheduled for August 10th through August 12th with
pre-convention activities starting Monday, August 6th.
For those interested, an early deposit of $100 was due
January 15, 2012. Payment is made to Devils Fan
Club, Inc. A late fee of $25.00 will be charged
for those paying after June 15, 2012.
